Charles Mack Anderson
Almond – A registered sex offender was sentenced to 26-41 months in prison Oct. 27 for failing to report a change of address to local authorities.
Charles Mack Curtis Anderson, 40, was indicted after moving to 938 Lower Panther Creek Road in the Almond portion of Graham County in April. Anderson’s previous address was 366 Milltown Road.
Anderson had to register as a lifetime sex offender as of Aug. 13, 2012, after a June 28, 2006 conviction in Clay County, Fla., of aiding and abetting in a lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim under 12 years old, where the offender was ages 18 or older. At the time of the incident, the victim was 8.
