Jimmy Dallas Cunningham, 79 of Almond, N.C., passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

He was born June 29, 1942 in Lincolnton, Ga.

Almond – A registered sex offender was sentenced to 26-41 months in prison Oct. 27 for failing to report a change of address to local authorities.

Deborah Jean Bowen, 69 of Almond, N.C., passed away on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at her home.

Dennis Bowen, age 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Almond, N.C. on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, after a 20-year battle with cancer.  

Lavinia M. DeHart, 88 of Almond, N.C., passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020. 

A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Icie Greene.
