Jimmy Dallas Cunningham, 79 of Almond, N.C., passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
He was born June 29, 1942 in Lincolnton, Ga.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam.
He was a 32-degree Mason at the Winter Park, Fla. Masonic Lodge and a member of the Bahia Shrine Temple in Orlando, Fla. After retiring from the Orange County Public School District in Florida, he and his wife moved permanently to Graham County, N.C. 20 years ago.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marlene Cunningham; daughter, Cathi Kulas and husband Andrew; grandchildren, Brandon and James Kulas; sister, Becky Courson and husband Dennis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
No services are planned at this time.
Crisp Funeral Home in Bryson City, N.C. was in charge of all arrangements.
