The Great Reset is an idea presented to us by the World Economic Forum and it suggests that the economies of the globe need a reset on capitalism, to prevent the disastrous effects of the COVID-19 pandemic from being a problem again.
While it is true that many American media elites are presenting the conservatives of being conspiracy theorists, I do not believe that this is the case. There is clearly a “Great Reset” being proposed by the forum.
It is also clear that the UN, Prince Charles, Prime Minister Trudeau and many other leaders are pushing the idea of needing a reset. Of course, the government knows that the best vehicle for social change is fear; this is why they have used the COVID pandemic as the vehicle for convincing people of the need for change.
The problem with the Great Reset is that the alleged protections are not actually designed to protect capitalism at all. Quoting the World Economic Forum, “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.”
It is not only convenient that we see language used by American politicians on the left being used here, but it is also revealing of the true motive of the reset. One simply needs to read this quote to recognize that these are the same ideals consistently pushed by socialist politicians in our nation – and across the globe – to see that we are not talking about fixing capitalism with a better capitalism. We are talking about replacing capitalism with socialism.
In case you don’t see the connection from the previous quote, here’s another speaking of how COVID has caused a larger problem: “All of this will exacerbate the climate and social crises that were already underway. And frustrations over social ills like rising inequality – US billionaires’ combined wealth has increased during the crisis – are intensifying.”
What is clear is that we see all of the hallmark complaints of the left-wing activist groups being used to describe the problem.
I just want to point out a few facts that are relevant to us as Americans. The first is that Joe Biden took his campaign slogan from the World Economic Forum. He is clearly familiar and supportive of their “Build Back Better” agenda.
The second is that the reason the rich – such as Jeff Bezos – get richer is that the government has crushed small business owners with costly regulations that don’t crush large companies like Amazon. The third is that the Great Reset simply sounds like the Green New Deal and Black Lives Matter agendas merged into one.
I am not saying that COVID was manufactured to cause this reset, but in the words of many well-known Democrats, “Never let a crisis go to waste.”
