‘I wanna be forever young’

Most of us want to be forever young, no matter what.

We do several ways to keep our youthful looks as much as we can. So let’s start beating the clock right now by doing the natural ways of keeping everyone young.

* Cardiovascular exercises – coupled with strength training – helps relieve stress because it boosts levels of endorphins, or the feel-good hormone. And once you practice resistance training, you keep your bone density strong by avoiding bone fractures or osteoporosis problems. This will give you a slimmer, toned appearance as well.

* Drink more water everyday. It cleanses your body and keeps you healthy and looking great.

* Go for greens and other colorful foods like fruits and vegetables. This is certainly much better than junk foods.

* Don’t take illegal drugs. It will gradually rob you of your younger-looking skin because of the chemical changes in your body, in general. Many drugs can cause your
body to work harder in an effort to flush out toxins, which leads to dry and flaky skin.

* Do not smoke and drink alcoholic beverages, because it will just dry your skin and lead to premature aging.

* Avoid making faces. You’re just making yourself ugly and old by developing wrinkles on your forehead. On the other hand, to squint invites the development of eye wrinkles as well.

* Keep your sense of humor. Never take life seriously, but at the same time be responsible for every action you make.

* Get enough sleep. Lack of sleep makes you irritable or moody, and makes you at risk for high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes mellitus and heart diseases like irregular heartbeat, heart attack or heart failure. In addition to that, sleep loss can lead to lackluster skin, fine lines and dark circles under the eyes. When you don’t get enough sleep, your body releases more of the stress hormone cortisol. In excess amounts, cortisol can break down skin collagen, the protein that keeps skin smooth and elastic.

There are several ways to keep yourself looking younger and one thing that you should never ever forget to do each day is to smile!
