The Durham Report – which finally dropped on May 15 – truly is devastating for the FBI.
It’s as damning for the legacy media that pushed the unsubstantiated collusion hoax and the politicians that knowingly promoted the false narrative.
Every American should read the 10-page executive summary of the report. The comprehensive investigation makes clear the top U.S. law enforcement agency didn’t follow the law – and its lawlessness was politically motivated.
The Durham Report is even more devastating for freedom and democracy in our country. A powerful, tax-funded, secretive police organization that attacks political dissidents/opponents “without any actual evidence” is a death knell for any free society.
The Durham Report concludes in its “multiple exhaustive and costly federal investigations” that “neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion … at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”
Yet, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) – who previously led the House Intelligence Committee – had pushed unproven allegations of Trump-Russia collusion for years, saying there was “ample evidence of collusion in plain sight.” He knowingly lied to the American public, pushing investigations into the farce that cost millions of dollars and limited then President Trump’s ability to govern the country effectively.
Plenty of political culprits and corrupt bureaucrats were involved in weaponizing the FBI and Intelligence Community.
From the report: “In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump's political opponents.”
Here’s what we can learn from the Durham Report:
* This weaponization of bureaucracies with their ability to crush dissidents must be passionately opposed by all political parties;
* This corruption will continue until there are consequences or changes (note the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020);
* We can defy this tyranny peacefully still by electing a president who will clean house and restore integrity to the DOJ, FBI, CIA, IRS and any other bureaucracy that’s evidencing this kind of weaponization/corruption;
* Bureaucracies refusing to acknowledge documented deceit and corruption are major reasons Americans increasingly don’t trust public institutions;
* This report accentuates the need for politicians with integrity. Could it be that no charges are being recommended for what happened in Crossfire Hurricane because politicians are scared of the dirt the Intelligence Community has on them? Whistleblowers last week warned “the FBI … will crush you and your family if you try to expose the truth about things that they are doing that are wrong;”
* All politicians are susceptible to abuse power to retain/gain power. Progressives, especially, are tempted to an ends justify the means methodology because Progressivism in action doesn’t work (note sanctuary city New York or homelessness, drugs, and crime in San Francisco). So they justify unjustly attacking political opponents with powerful bureaucracies like the “Justice Department” for their “noble causes;”
Let’s not lose hope or imitate the actions of corrupt bureaucrats and politicians.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses (and some in bureaucracies and political power), but we must trust in the name of the Lord our God.
