“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).
When we sanctify our lives through Jesus Christ, it means a lot of things.
Firstly, we completely trust Him to take care of our needs, whatever it is. Therefore, there is a spirit of submission to God.
Secondly, we let Jesus take the lead, instead of us doing the job. He knows what is best for us, which is to prosper us and not to harm us, but to give us hope and a good future.
Lastly, we allow the power of the Holy Spirit to work in us like with the spirit of conviction, completeness, contentment and most of all, the peace of God that transcends all understanding.
However, some people think that they are in control of their lives and bodies. Consequently, they just do what they want to do without even thinking if it glorifies God or not.
One of these is abortion. This is the most wicked thing that any individual will adhere to. In the first place, it’s only God who has the right to take the life of any human being. Otherwise, you’ll be judged for committing murder of an innocent fetus or unborn baby in the womb.
Abortion is basically the deliberate termination of a human being, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.
President Donald Trump first released a proposal for the rule in May 2018, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services released the final rule in February 2019.
The rule requires “financial and physical separation” between facilities or programs that provide any kind of health service using Title X funds and those that provide abortions. It also “[prohibits] referral for abortion as a method of family planning.” The rule says that providers can still offer “non-directive counseling on abortion,” but as previously reported, non-directive counseling is already the medical standard.
Lyne Williams of Robbinsville said it is a great sin to commit abortion. God hates it, but there is hope in Jesus if a person that has committed abortion truly regrets it and with a broken humble heart goes in prayer to God. This could achieve forgiveness and once you do that, there is no more condemnation in Jesus.
He quoted Psalm 139:14: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
