Over $638K awarded to Robbinsville High seniors

Robbinsville – Judging by the numbers, the upcoming graduating class of Robbinsville High School will be the latest in a long line of those who have entered adulthood with a tremendous chance at success.
Members of the East Wilkes faithful pleaded their case, but Robbinsville junior Liz Carpenter was all fired up as she greeted Suri Watty after being called safe on a game-tying slide in Game 2 of the Western Regional Final Series on Friday. Asheboro – Uwharrie Charter Academy held all the cards: the No. 1 seed in the 1A West bracket and home field advantage. However, there was one glaring disadvantage entering Friday’s fourth-round playoff game: the program had not played a team the caliber of Robbinsville.
