Williams prevails in commissioner primary

Robbinsville – Every vote counts. In a race that literally went down to the final ballot reviewed, Natasha Williams bested Andy Lynn for the third Republican slot on the November general ballot for Graham County Board of Commissioners, 697-696. Provisional ballots almost mattered.

Sheriff candidates discuss goals at forum

Robbinsville – About 75 people showed up to watch a candidate forum on April 23, featuring Republican candidates for Graham County Sheriff, Graham County Board of Commissioners and Graham County Board of Education.

Candidate filing draws crowd

Robbinsville – At long last, candidate filing for 2022 elections concluded at noon Friday. Locally, candidates turned out in droves for both the sheriff’s and board of commissioners races. Several filed for the Graham County Board of Education, while a pair of races will go uncontested.
