Cullowhee – Just a few weeks after Western Carolina University re-named its softball complex after the program's founder, a high school team helped christen the field.The Robbinsville Lady Knights rolled onto campus April 9, playing as the away team in the annual neutral-site clash with the A.C.

Waynesville – Flashes of just how dominant the Robbinsville Lady Knights can be were on full display Monday. Showing the respect warranted by the Knights’ program, Tuscola (4-7) tossed their No. 1 gun Addi Sampson inside the circle for Robbinsville’s third-straight road game.

Fate rests in their hands

Robbinsville – If Tuesday’s game is any indicator, the Lady Knights are going to have to work extra hard to retain their monopoly on the Smoky Mountain Conference championship.

Poison Ivy

Robbinsville – Ivy Odom put everybody on notice Friday. One of the Lady Knights’ eight seniors, Odom homered in consecutive innings during the home opener, collecting five RBIs in the process and helping lift Robbinsville (1-1) to a 10-3 triumph against T.C. Roberson (0-2).
