Robbinsville – Coming into Friday’s game, there was a lot of buzz surrounding the Hayesville Yellow Jackets, who entered the Big Oaks fresh off a bye week and a 4-1 record.

JV Knights suffer first loss

Andrews – Lost fumbles and missed opportunities led to the junior varsity Black Knights’ first loss of the season. Robbinsville (2-1) traveled to Andrews (4-0) on Sept. 26 for a showdown between the only two undefeated JV teams left in the Smoky Mountain Conference.

Rosman – In a game that lasted just 90 minutes, the Black Knights put the Smoky Mountain Conference on notice. Robbinsville (6-0) made the long trek to Rosman (1-5) for the division opener Friday, holding the Tigers to just 15 yards of offense and scoring almost at-will in a 54-0 rout.
