Hendersonville – Due to an increase in respiratory illnesses across the region – including flu, COVID-19 and RSV – AdventHealth is implementing temporary visitor restrictions and safety protocols at its North Carolina facilities, to help protect patients, visitors and team members.

AdventHealth addresses misleading operating hours

Robbinsville – Amid questions brought on by social media and Google searches alike, Graham County’s urgent care provider issued an exclusive statement last week to The Graham Star regarding its hours of operation. Since opening its doors to see patients on Oct.

Urgent care opening delayed – again

Robbinsville – Though decals adorn the front entrance and a sign welcoming everyone sits on the corner of South Main Street, the scheduled date for AdventHealth’s urgent care opening came and went with no patients seen. Optimism was through the roof when AdventHealth held an open house on Aug.

Robbinsville – AdventHealth will enter into a 10-year contract to provide urgent- and primary-care services to Graham County.

Urgent matter resolved

Robbinsville – For months, Graham County has lacked the availability of local urgent care. A deal announced Monday afternoon hopes to correct the issue – once and for all.
AdventHealth was recently selected to build a 67-bed hospital in the Candler area. Graham was pinpointed as 1-of-4 counties that would be included in the hospital’s coverage area.

Candler – AdventHealth was chosen over two contenders to build a 67-acute care bed hospital just west of Asheville in Buncombe County, for a hospital service area that includes Graham, Buncombe, Yancey and Madison counties.

AdventHealth pitches new hospital

Robbinsville – One-of-three hospital companies vying to fill an identified need for 67 more hospital beds in Buncombe County held a “listening session” Monday in Graham County, 1-of-3 outlying counties identified as within the hospital region’s service area.
