Robbinsville – The same year that Graham County celebrated its 100th birthday, the Robbinsville High School Class of 1972 received its diplomas.

Tax assessor preps for ’23 revaluation

Robbinsville – If you have owned property for any length of time in Graham County, you should know that every few years, the county tax assessor evaluates your property and assigns an updated property tax value.

Drone interferes with EMS helicopter

West Fort Hill – Someone operated a remote-controlled drone near the Graham County Emergency Medical Services base between 9-10 p.m. Aug. 23, as a medical helicopter was at the base preparing to transport a patient with a serious medical condition.

  Robbinsville – Before the Blue Devils had a chance to gather their bearings, Cuttler Adams trampled downfield for a 78-yard touchdown. Before the first quarter was over, Adams had 129 rushing yards alone on scoring runs.

Dominance

Candler – A mere 66 yards offensive yards surrendered. Robbinsville (1-0) made a resounding statement in its first junior-varsity contest of the year, played Aug. 18 at a neutral site – Enka High School. The opposition? The Mitchell Mountaineers.

Low-cost housing nearly ready to unveil

Robbinsville – The Graham County Rural Development Authority is putting the finishing touches on Azalea Hill – an affordable housing development off Moose Branch Road – with lots being made available in the next couple of months.
