Ronald L. Anderson, 80 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Columbus and Lola Belle Farr Anderson.

Peyton Augustus Buchanan, 19 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was a native of Graham County and the son of Brandon Buchanan of Robbinsville, N.C. and Maria Millsaps Buchanan of Marion, N.C.

Judy Moose Adams

Judy Moose Adams, 78 of the Moose Branch Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Ethel Johnson Moose.

Sylvia Dair Cable Smith

Sylvia Dair Cable Smith, 84 of Graham County, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Pearlie Cable and Cora Rose Cable.

Richard Chamberlain

Richard Phillip Chamberlain passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 2, 2021, at the age of 84. He was born on Aug. 5, 1936 in Endwell, N.Y. He retired from Western Electric in 1976 and had a tree farm for many years. Later, he moved to Robbinsville.

Joyce Carringer

Joyce Ann Crisp Carringer, age 84 of Oak Ridge, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, after courageously battling cancer.  She was born on July 28, 1936 in Yellow Creek, N.C.

Charles Hooper, 69 of Robbinsville and beloved husband, father and grandfather, was called to his heavenly home on Friday, March 30, 2021, surrounded by family and friends.

Effie Garland Sherrill, 99 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Robbinsville, N.C. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Mary Williams Garland.

Casey Allen Phillips, 30 of Robbinsville, N.C., peeked through the gates of heaven, felt the warmth of love’s embrace and on Thursday, March 25, 2021, decided to leave the troubles of the world behind and journey ahead to his eternal home.

Mattie Lee Ross

Mrs. Mattie Lee Ross, 95 of Lake City, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Solaris Healthcare, after an extended illness.  She was born in Nashville, Ga. on June 11, 1925, to the late Seymour Fred Purdy and Nancy Leona Griffin Purdy.
