Valdese – There is just one more obstacle standing between six Robbinsville athletes and statewide immortality. A top-4 finish (or better) meant Brock Adams, Cuttler Adams, Claire Barlow, Kadence Howell, Kensley Phillips and Zoie Shuler all punched their tickets to the N.C.

Cherokee – Between just two Robbinsville High athletes, five total Most Outstanding Athlete of the Smoky Mountain Conference Track & Field Championship Meet distinctions exist. There was really no need to have a coaches poll at the conclusion of May 3’s meet: their results spoke for themselves.

Robbinsville – The Black Knights were no slouch in providing the fanbase with a historic season of their own. The non-stop thrill ride included five overtime victories; a perfect 13-0 record at home (in fact, Robbinsville has not lost a home game since Jan. 7, 2022, a 51-44 loss to Hayesville.

Robbinsville – A pair of Black Knight seniors were recently awarded for their academic and athletic endeavors. Brock Adams and Kensley Phillips were selected last week as Robbinsville’s 2022 Heisman High School Scholarship recipients.
