Taking on all comers

The Black Knights have dove right into the deep end of the talent pool during their first official week of matches this year. Hosting a tri-match with Franklin and McDowell on Nov. 12, Robbinsville knocked off the Panthers 54-24 and the Titans 46-21.

Smoky Mountain rain

Sylva – For the first time in recent memory, Robbinsville met Smoky Mountain for middle school basketball action.

‘Back, back, gone!’

Eighteen games into the season, opponents are still trying to find the weak point on the Lady Knights’ roster. Good luck. Just in the last week, Robbinsville (16-2, 8-0) made short work of its latest sprint.

Offensive outpour

Webster – Everywhere you looked, Monday’s season opener for the Robbinsville Lady Knights was nothing but positive. A 12-run top of the first ended things before they really got started for Smoky Mountain (0-2), as Robbinsville almost batted around twice in its first offensive series of the year.
