On Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, Alicia Batts of Robbinsville, N.C., unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 42 from heart failure at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn., while awaiting heart surgery.
Alicia was the daughter of her parents, Marlene and William Artrip of Robbinsville, N.C., and Ronald and Darlene Batts of Alabama.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her three beautiful children, Anthony Lyons, 18, Lindsey Batts, 13, and Isabell Batts, 12; her brother Curtis Batts of Dallas, Tex.; as well as multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019 at Sweetgum Baptist Church, 3295 Old Tallulah Road, Robbinsville, N.C. 28771.
