Billy Jay Pressley, 65 of the Dick Branch Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at his residence.
A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Johnny and Nellie Roselle Waldroup Pressley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pressley.
He is survived by his daughter, Vonna Jade Pressley of Hayesville; sons, Billy Zebulon Pressley of Murphy, Fitchue Morrison of Livingston, Texas, Weldon Brooks of Robbinsville, N.C. and Atlas Brooks of Kernersville, N.C.; his brothers, Lloyd Pressley and David Pressley, both of Robbinsville, N.C., and Kenny (Glenda) Pressley of Blairsville, Ga.; and his sisters, Shirley Hannah (Dock) and Helen Pressley, both of Dawsonville, Ga.; Joyce Miller (Michael), Lois Satterfield (David), and Brenda Powell (John), all of Robbinsville, N.C.
His grandchildren are Arryana Pressley, Hailey Roselle Pressley, Olivia Verner, Rylie Kendrick, Wesson Kendrick and Leeland Kendrick.
Graveside services wereheld at 12:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at Pressley Family Cemetery on Dick Branch Road.
The Rev. Josh Ledford officiated.
