David Lynn Mosteller, 66 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
He was the son of the late Monroe “Bill” and Delza Owetta Matheson Mosteller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristin Lyna Daniels; and his maternal grandparents, Arthur J. and Annie Mae Matheson.
David was a Pharmacist at Appalachian Community Pharmacy in Robbinsville. He loved fishing and was a Georgia Bulldogs fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Tate Mosteller; his son, DJ Mosteller of Charlotte, N.C.; his brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Sabrina Mosteller of Waynesville, N.C.; his nephew, Barry David Mosteller of Franklin, N.C.; his niece, Christina M. Beher of Maui, Hawaii; his grandchildren, Summer McCoy, Bruce Tipton, and Braxton Hicks; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Vivian McCoy.
He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Brenda Dowdle of Robbinsville, N.C., his sisters-in-law and his many friends who will cherish his memory.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Union Hill Cemetery in Hayesville, N.C. The Rev. Jackie Sellers officiated.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the animal rescue program of your choice, in memory of David.
