Faye B. Martin, 77 of Powell, Tenn., passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was born on April 5, 1945 in Robbinsville, N.C. and lived there until after graduation from high school. Faye was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Powell. She retired from Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville after 30 years of service.
Faye was preceded in death by her infant son, Billy Ray Morgan; her husband, Jack L. Martin; her parents, Harvey Dock Orr and Ethel Barnes Orr; brothers Cecil Orr, Hoyt Orr, Tom Orr and Eddie Orr; and brother-in-law, Luther Crawley. Faye is survived by her son, Richard Morgan; grandson, Trevor Morgan and wife Tisha, great-granddaughters, Raylyn Grace Morgan and Layla Faith Morgan.
Faye is also survived by her sister and husband, Ruth Crawley and Jerry Finley; twin sister and husband, Maye and Edmon Holloway; four sister-in-laws, Elissa (Cecil), Darlene (Hoyt), Esther (Tom) and Patricia (Eddie); along with other family members and friends.
The family received friends on Monday, May 9, 2022 between noon – 2 p.m. at Woodhaven Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service in the Chapel Garden at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Tim McGee officiated.
