Jack A. Hill, 82 of Knoxville, Tenn. passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at his residence.

He was a native of Graham County. He was employed by Phillips & Jordan for 47 years until he retired.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Nannie Pearl Hill; sister, Peggy Farley; as well as his grandson, Joshua Hatfield.

He was also preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Wanda Sue Trammell Hill, who was the love of his life.

Jack is survived by his children, Keith and wife Karen Hill, Jerry and wife Monica Hill, as well as Pam and husband Robert Patterson, all of Knoxville, Tenn.

He is also survived by his brother, Dale and wife Lisa Hill; along with his sister, Judy Hill. He has five grandchildren, Ashley and husband Neal Thornton, Bryan Hill, Candace Hatfield, Jacob Hill, and Taylor and his wife Tiffany Hill. Jack is survived by his five great-grandchildren: Emma, Matthew and John Thornton, and Lincoln and Zoey Hill.

Jack and his wife Sue loved spending time with their family, especially on the lake, camping and fishing. He was also a long-time member of Robbinsville Masonic Lodge No. 672.

Jack was a hard working man.

He was self-made, true to his word, and a servant to his family as husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Jack loved the Lord and was eager for Heaven, where he’d greet both his wife and other loved ones in the presence of the Lord Jesus.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Lone Oak Baptist Church.

The family received friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service.

The Revs. Tim Dupuy and Neal Thornton officiated.

Burial followed in the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Masonic Rites were conducted by Robbinsville Lodge No. 672.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Robbinsville Shrine Club, in memory of Jack.
