Johnny Mitchell “Mitch” Hedrick, 58 and formerly of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home in Whiteville, N.C.

He was a native of Graham County and the son of Lloyd and Marva Dean Nichols Hedrick.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter and her husband, Kalane Fultz (Devin) of Okinawa, Japan; granddaughters, Arabella and Charlotte Jones, Evangeline and Noelle Fultz; brother, Scott Hedrick (Lisa) of Robbinsville, N.C.; his soulmate, Grace Mishoe and her children, Ronnie Mishoe, and Alisha Reaves (Anthony) all of Whiteville, N.C.; and grandchildren, Jayden Bost (Draper), Jayce, John Michael, Cannon and Ridge Reaves, and Trinity, Gralyn, R.E. and Violet Mishoe.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church. The Revs. Daniel Stewart and Mickey Stewart officiated.

Burial followed the service at Carver Cemetery.

The family received friends from noon – 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at the church prior to the service.
