Kris J. Buchanan, 47 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, N.C.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of James Buchanan and Patricia Rogers.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Brady Buchanan of Robbinsville, N.C.; grandson, Brantley Krizan; and his brother, Chip Buchanan of Buchanan, Va.
Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at the Towson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Daniel Stewart officiated.
The family received friends from 12:30 – 1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.
Private graveside services will be held on a later date.
