Kristy Carver, 47 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Friday, June 11, 2021, at her residence.
She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of Bobby and Kathy Jenkins Carver.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Carver in 2009 and her grandparents, Ralph and Mildred Jenkins, and Ruby Carver and Roxie Carver; and aunts and uncles, Betty and Lincoln Long, John Aikens, and Donna and Max Crisp.
Kristy graduated from Robbinsville High School and was the salutatorian of her graduating class. She received her bachelor’s degree in health occupation management from Western Carolina University and later worked at Swain Medical Center and Harris Regional Hospital as Health Occupations Manager.
Kristy was also a gifted writer and she enjoyed traveling with her family and friends and going to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her nieces, Hannah Carver of England and Hallee Carver of Robbinsville, N.C.; aunts and uncles, Lynda and John McClincy, Larry (Tad) Jenkins, Wilma Aikens, and Danny and Monica Farley; and her cat, Daisy Mae, who she loved very much.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Loy Kennedy and Scott Roper officiated.
