Madeline Postell Garner passed on Wednesday, May 9, 2021.
She was born on Aug. 12, 1928 in Robbinsville, N.C., to Abe L. Postell and Julie Jordan Postell.
Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Clarke Garner; her parents; brothers, Ray and Bright Postell; sister, Bonnie Jean Postell; and son, Edward A. Rogers.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Reidville Chapter No. 46 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Ira (Susan) Rogers of Melrose, Fla.; grandsons, Hayden (Donna) Rogers of Brasstown, N.C. and Christopher Rogers of Kings Mountain, N.C.; and granddaughters, Torin Rogers, Lochlan Rogers, Chantz Smith and Abreeanna Rogers; step-daughter, Joann Garner (Kenny) Ercole of Little River, S.C.; sisters, Marie Moore of Catlett, Va. and Dawn Hamilton of Robbinsville, N.C.; and brother, Huel Pastell of Robbinsville, N.C.
Graveside services were held on Monday, May 14, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Union, S.C. by Mr. Mike Lawrence.
