Richard A. Martin Jr., 58 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy, N.C.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Richard Martin, Sr. and Evelyn Swanson, and the grandson of Reverend Cliff and Maggie George.
Richard was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his daughter, Emmi Gutierrez of Raleigh, N.C.; his sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Mark Laney of Murphy, N.C.; one nephew, two nieces and seven great-nephews and nieces.
Plans for a memorial service will be announced later.
