Roy Thomas Williams, 79 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Friday Dec. 17, 2021, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
Roy was the son of the late Weaver and Elda Grindstaff Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Wendy M. Williams; brothers, Doyle Grindstaff, Ted Williams and David Williams; and sister, Mary Phillips.
He is survived by son, Troy Williams; companion, Vickey Branch; brothers, Marshall Williams and Billy Jack Williams; and sisters, Carol Williams and Allene Butler; grandchildren, Tanner McAbee (Milia) of Lincolnton, N.C., and Brittany McAbee of Robbinsville, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Victoria McAbee, Zoey Grant, Hunter McAbee and Lilly Mcabee.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, in the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service. The Rev. James Millsaps officiated.
Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery.
