Ms. Wanda Bane Stuckey, 79 of Hayesville, N.C. passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at her home.
Ms. Stuckey was born Dec. 6, 1942, in Conway, S.C., to the late James Nelson Bane, Sr. and the late Wyoma Louise Creel.
Wanda loved attending church and her walk with the Lord was very important to her. The family was very important to Wanda and she cherished her time with them.
Survivors include daughter, Ellen (Michael) Woods; brother, James N (Belinda) Bane Jr; sister, Barbara Bane; grandchildren, Chantilly Woods, Mikey Allison, Salinas Zepeda (Israel); great-grandchildren, Tiara Wech, Kamerin Woods, Walosi Welch, Mosi Welch, Emilio Panama Cruz, Sabastian Panama Cruz, Israel Salinas Zepdea; nieces and nephews; Joshua Thompson, Trae Bane, Larkin Giddens, Jared Bane and Amelia Richardt.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, with Jim Bane and Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating.
A memorial service will also be held in Robbinsville, N.C. at a later date.
