Graham County Schools releases 2023-24 calendar

Robbinsville – Students reporting to Graham County Schools for the 2023-24 year will enjoy 171 days of instruction. The board of education discussed the upcoming calendar at its Feb. 7 meeting, with Superintendent Angie Knight noting that public input was welcomed – but very little was received.

Robbinsville – Freshman U.S. Rep. Chuck Edwards spent part of Day 2 of his first tour of his sprawling 17-county congressional district with a visit to Robbinsville Middle School on Tuesday.

Robbinsville – Tuesday’s meeting of the Graham County Board of Education reflected hard financial times, recovery from low school scores – and a glimmer of hope for the future.

Robbinsville – Graham County Schools has received a $511,500 Golden LEAF Foundation grant that will be used to start a downtown coffee/sandwich shop and imprinting shop to teach Robbinsville High School students real-world workforce skills.

Robbinsville – Graham County schools students and staff needing several healthcare services now have the option of receiving it on school property.  On Tuesday morning, the ribbon was officially cut on the Erlanger Western Carolina school-based clinic, located at Robbinsville Elementary School.
