District-wide mask mandate will continue

Robbinsville – Graham County Schools will continue to require students and teachers to “mask up” for at least another month.  On Tuesday, the Graham County Board of Education voted 3-2 to continue the mask mandate it approved in an emergency meeting on Sept. 1.

Food truck set to make debut

Robbinsville – Graham County Schools is gearing up to roll out one of its newest assets to serve the community. After several months of work, the district’s new food truck will soon be ready to transport meals to virtual learners in remote areas of the county, as well as serving in other roles.
Due to rain, last year’s Trunk-or-Treat event had to be moved inside the Robbinsville Elementary School gymnasium. Though the 2020 installment will be held outdoors, COVID-19 protocols will see people spread much further apart than last year.

Robbinsville – After going through a proverbial roller-coaster of planning, the annual Trunk-or-Treat event will take place from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Robbinsville High School.
