Pipe leak floods Graham County offices

Robbinsville – A construction error led to a water line break and major flooding Friday at the Graham County Community Building on Knight Street, forcing county offices to close temporarily.

Dinschel officially wins school board seat

Robbinsville – Almost a month after the general election, all of the local races have been officially decided. Who would fill the second seat on the Graham County Board of Education has been in limbo since Nov.

Dinschel wins recount

Robbinsville – There’s still one step left before the second Graham County Board of Education seat from the Nov. 8 ballot is set in stone. Clark “Chip” Carringer convincingly won the public’s opinion over three weeks ago, as his re-election bid garnered 2,368 votes.

Dinschel wins 2nd school board seat

Robbinsville – Yogi Berra once quipped, "It ain't over till it's over." Both Debra "Hank" Dinschel – a Republican – and Maria Shook (D) collectively held their breath as the Graham County Board of Elections presented 15 different ballots at Nov. 17's provisional meeting.

Voting begins today

Robbinsville – It is really no surprise that a lot of eyes are on the Graham County Board of Elections at the moment. The board just struck down the first of eight voter challenges filed by Lake Santeetlah council member Diana Simon.

First voter challenge evidentiary hearing set

Robbinsville – The first of two voter challenges pertaining to the outcome of the 2021 Town of Lake Santeetlah election results has been set. John and Tina Emerson will be challenged at a 9 a.m. hearing Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Graham County Community Building, 196 Knight St.
