A look back at 2020

The dawn of the new decade was seemingly dominated by a worldwide pandemic. And while the coronavirus has certainly made its presence felt in the area, Graham County still had a bevy of impactful events occur within its borders.

Thomas Storm Moose – the man, the myth, the legend – has exited his earth pod.  The cosmos are now his playground, as he watches over us until the day arrives that we are all together in the glory with Jesus.  Be warned: this new chapter will no doubt bring mischief.

Death deemed suspicious

Cheoah – Graham County authorities are treating the discovery of a Robbinsville man’s body as “suspicious.” Thomas Storm Moose, 24, of Robbinsville, was found dead off Lower Mountain Creek Road on Aug. 16. He had been reported missing to authorities on Aug. 12.
