Volleyball hosting summer matches

Robbinsville – The Lady Knights are opening the doors of the high school gym this month for a program fundraiser. Athletes in grades K-4 can register for practices and matches that will occur every respective Monday and Tuesday throughout the month.

One story ends, another begins

At any given time between May 16 – June 2, one could simply turn on either the Super Regionals or the Women's College World Series and spot a Graham County native on the field.

Taylor named Player of the Year

Naomi Taylor rounded out her career at Robbinsville with the distinction of being named Smoky Mountain Conference Player of the Year. The All-Conference team was released at the conclusion of the division's competition in the postseason.

Little League, big problem

Surrounded by a bevy of excitement, the Blue Ridge Mountain Little League released its championship playoff brackets Memorial Day weekend.

Robbinsville – A recurring theme emerged as May 15's R-Club Banquet rolled through the awards portion of the evening. In fact, it spoiled the ending.

Greensboro – Though no gold was collected, Robbinsville still made a significant impact at Friday's 1A track & field state championship meet.

* State meet preview Columbus – Though no regional champions from Robbinsville were crowned at Friday's meet, the Black Knights stamped eight tickets to the state championship.

Lady Knights back at the mountaintop

Robbinsville – Last year's middle school softball team had seven players who are now competing in the varsity ranks. The 2024 squad was the first to win a divisional title for Robbinsville since 2017.
