900 grams of meth

Mountain Creek – Months of investigations – followed by a traffic stop – resulted in one of Graham County’s largest methamphetamine seizures: over 900 grams of suspected liquid and solid methamphetamine, plus the arrest of what Sheriff Jerry Crisp called one of the county’s biggest drug dealers.

Robbinsville – Merit pay for Graham County Sheriff’s deputies, correctional officers and other frontline personnel was on the agenda at a special meeting of the Graham County Board of Commissioners Friday morning.

County Deputy cleared after June shooting

Tallulah – A Graham County sheriff’s deputy has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the shooting death of a Dickson, Tenn., resident. Deputy Courtney Heaton fatally shot 31-year-old Mickey Ray Rice on June 20, after officers gave chase when Rice fled from a traffic stop in Robbinsville.

Humvee theft leads to two-county chase

Robbinsville – It started with a vehicle being taken from the Graham County Sheriff’s Office.  It continued in Cherokee County.  And it ended just shy of the Macon County line.
