Food truck, RTA discussed at aldermen meeting

Robbinsville – The possibility of food-truck regulations for Robbinsville came up during the Robbinsville Town Council meeting Feb. 3.  Alderman Debbie Beasley said some food truck operators had asked about Robbinsville’s rules on food trucks entering the vicinity on a daily basis.

Town continues fight against mold issues

Town of Robbinsville avoids costly sewer repair

Robbinsville – A non-functioning sewer jet is back in action for the town. As part of the May 6 Robbinsville Board of Alderman teleconference, Mayor Steve Hooper informed everyone that while the sewer jet has been repaired and is working once again, a $1,672.

Alcohol sales shelved again

Robbinsville – For the second straight month, the town had the decision whether to vote on allowing constituents to decide if Graham County would sell alcohol once again or not. For the second straight month, the aldermen elected to table the issue. This time, until April. The Feb.

Town weighs new system

Robbinsville – An automated system that would alert customers of water outages was heavily discussed at Dec. 4’s Town of Robbinsville meeting. Shari Birchfield laid out the research done thus far on the system.

Positive review for town

Robbinsville – During a lengthy town Board of Aldermen meeting Friday, auditors commended the effort made on the financial side of the operation. Nancy Lux with Ray, Bumgarner, Kingshill & Associates presented the audit report for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
