Fontana to operate on $239K budget

Fontana Dam – After a slight delay, the town has finally adopted its 2020-21 fiscal year budget. Town Administrator Zelerie Rogers presented a breakdown of the expected $239,169.

Fontana Dam – Upgrades were made on schedule, but not without several hiccups. The Tennessee Valley Authority completed the first phase of electrical upgrades in the town from Sept. 9-18, but residents and guests alike were left with scattered access to power during the project.

Town settles with Fontana Village

Fontana Dam – After months of back and forth, the Town of Fontana Dam and Fontana Village Inc. have finally settled a past-due debt. The former shareholders presented the town with a $40,000 check, a final offer on the $74,041.
