* In an emergency meeting, the Town of Robbinsville Board of Aldermen voted to disband the municipality’s three-man police force one week earlier than planned. New tires, two batteries, an air conditioner compressor and some other items were vandalized, according to Cody and alderman Eugene Rose. The board was leaving it up to the sheriff to pursue charges regarding the theft on the cars.
