Dec. 12, 1985

* Robbinsville swept a trip to Nantahala, with both the Lady Knights and Black Knights improving to 2-0 thanks to the victories. The girls prevailed 72-49; Ella Mae Teesateskie and April Holder each dropped 20 points to lead Robbinsville. In the boys' 77-54 win, Allen Rattler connected for 25 and Steve Rogers added 12 for the Knights.

Dec. 12, 1975

* The Stecoah Lady Tornadoes defeated Cherokee, 75-51. Michelle McMillan led Stecoah with 23 points, while Kathy Cabe added 16. The Stecoah boys could not replicate the success, falling 58-45 to the Braves. Roy Birchfield topped the Tornadoes with 14 points; Randall Lee mixed in 13.

Dec. 12, 1969

* Robbinsville’s girls won a low-scoring 34-26 affair at Franklin. Sandra Crisp led the Lady Knights with 15 points. The Black Knights fell 67-57 to the Panthers; Allan Lakey put up 21 for Robbinsville. The boys later cruised to a 66-48 win over Cherokee; David Jenkins' 18 points led the Knights. Meanwhile, the Lady Knights conquered the Lady Braves 52-35. Crisp once again led Robbinsville with 25 points.
