Oct. 16, 1986

* A fourth-quarter rally lifted Robbinsville to a 14-7 conference triumph over Cullowhee. Marty Holloway got the Knights into the score column with 11:31 to go, while Christian Pagel booted a PAT to tie the affair 7-7. Eric Crisp later threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Jeff Shuler with 37 seconds remaining in regulation.

Oct. 16, 1980

* The Knights dropped Franklin 36-6, extending their winning streak over the Panthers to six. Both Ricky Stiles and Danny Jordan found the end zone on two separate touchdowns, while Phillip Buchanan had a one-yard score in the first quarter. Willie Perkins tacked on a two-point conversion for good measure.

* Robbinsville's JV football team posted back-to-back wins, knocking off Andrews 48-20 and Cullowhee 42-0. Tony Rattler rushed for 101 yards on 11 carries in the victory over the Wildcats; while quarterback Deron Shuler was 8-for-11 in the air – amassing 210 yards – against the Rebels. 

Oct. 16, 1970

* Behind 154 rushing yards on 24 touches by Larry Sawyer, Robbinsville edged Franklin 23-20. Sawyer had two touchdowns and one conversion run in the victory. The remainder of the scoreline consisted of Mark Manuel passing to David Jordan for a 15-yard touchdown; plus Manuel kicking a PAT and rushing across for two. The Black Knights held the Panthers to one touchdown in the second half.
