    * Robbinsville High School volleyball recognized its senior players: Jessica Ayers, Bethany Teem and Krissy Williams.

    Oct. 23, 1986

    * Thanks to a Christian Pagel PAT, the Black Knights edged Cherokee in overtime 21-20. Eric Crisp passed to Darby Snider for a touchdown to push Robbinsville ahead 20-14, with Pagel's extra-point ultimately clinching the victory. The Braves found the end zone in response, but the PAT careened off the goal post to fall short.

    Oct. 23, 1980

    * Robbinsville improved to 7-0 with a 54-14 thrashing of the Andrews Wildcats. Both Danny Jordan and Kevin Waldroup had two touchdowns in the first half, while Mike Hyde, Ricky Stiles and Randy Moody also paid separate visits to the end zone on offense. Lamar Shuler threw for two touchdowns and had a two-point conversion, while Waldroup, Stiles and Ronnie Williams all contributed two-point runs. Mitch Beasley also logged a touchdown pass. Defensively, Phillip Buchanan picked off an Andrews pass and Darrell Simmons posted a fumble recovery.
