Weapon of mass destruction discovered in traffic stop

Robbinsville – Two men were arrested after a stolen sawed-off shotgun was discovered during a traffic stop.  At approximately 10:05 p.m. on June 28, a Graham County Sheriff’s Office deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of North Main Street and Rodney Orr Bypass.

Dutcher charges voluntarily dismissed

Robbinsville – A repeat offender had two charges voluntarily dismissed in Graham County District Court on July 1, but was also arrested on two charges of failure to appear the same day.

Festival returns after COVID hiatus

Robbinsville – Graham County’s largest festival returned with a bang this year, after a yearlong hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  On Saturday, hundreds of people gathered on Courthouse Square in Robbinsville for the annual Graham County Heritage Festival.

Local woman arrested on identity theft charges

A Robbinsville woman was arrested in Jackson County, after allegedly spending more than $2,000 out of another person’s bank account.  Court documents show that 34-year-old Danielli Nichole Adams – who has a listed address of 2719 Massey Branch Road – allegedly stole $2,322.

Man arrested after drugs found in traffic stop

Milltown – A West Buffalo man has been arrested after being caught with drugs, following a June 24 traffic stop. A Graham County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol in the Long Creek and Milltown area observed a vehicle that appeared to not have a license plate.
