Hendersonville – It might have taken 17 trips to get it right, but all that matters is that Robbinsville got it right. The Black Knights made their traditional trek to West Henderson on Friday and Saturday for the Falcon Frenzy.

Robbinsville – Anytime an opponent catches Robbinsville’s name on its schedule, chances are they are in for a long night. Such was the case for the 3A Smoky Mountain Lady Mustangs, who rolled into Graham County on Friday and quickly found themselves in a 12-0 hole.

Robbinsville – Even when faced with an early adversity, the Knights refuse to stay down for the count. In its toughest dual of the season, Robbinsville (4-0) welcomed the Enka Jets on Saturday, and though the Knights triumphed 53-19, things did not look promising in the beginning.

Knights conquer Highlanders in season openers

Robbinsville – The Knights’ varsity basketball program gave the Graham County faithful a sample of what’s to come this season. And after Tuesday’s straight sweep of Highlands, it’s evident that both the Lady Knights and Black Knights will deliver the goods each time they hit the hardwood.

Robbinsville – Just before turkey day, the Black Knights stayed busy. Robbinsville (2-0) hosted the T.C. Roberson Rams for a Nov. 23 dual before loading up and traveling to Enka on Nov. 24 for the Jet Invitational.

Bryson City – Down by 17 at halftime, the Black Knights could easily have thrown in the towel. However, Robbinsville (5-2) refused to go down without a fight, putting up 36 points in the second half of the Nov. 18 road game at Swain County and ultimately edging the Maroon Devils 54-53.
