Robbinsville – Needless to say, things fell in place for the Lady Knights on Tuesday.

Down to the wire

Robbinsville – Say what you will about the Black Knights, but they sure leave fans on the edge of their seats in the closing minutes of a game. Such was the case Tuesday night, when a spirited rally bid fell short against the visiting Andrews Wildcats, who held on to knock off Robbinsville 56-53.

Thomas Chandler Cable

Thomas Chandler Cable, 27 of Andrews, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Graham County and the son of Rex and Tracy Burchfield Cable.

Robbinsville – Through three quarters of the Nov. 4 tilt against Andrews, the Robbinsville Middle School Lady Knights were held to a mere four points.

Knights roll past Wildcats

Andrews – After coming out on the wrong end of a shutout, the junior varsity Black Knights got back up and trudged forward. Robbinsville (2-1) overcame some early adversity Sept. 30 at Andrews, eventually pulling ahead and ultimately prevailing 38-18 over the Wildcats.
