Robbinsville – Nine of the last 10 Western Regional championships in the state 1A classification have been split between Robbinsville and Murphy. This Friday night, that statistic will increase to 10 of 11.

A Memory she’ll never forget

Rosman – Memory Frapp has certainly been making a name for herself in the Smoky Mountain Conference this season.  But the seventh win of her varsity career might be the most resounding so far.

Nicholas Clayton Burchfield, 25 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021. He was the son of Tina and David Phillips, and Milburn Walter and Donna Burchfield, all of Robbinsville, N.C.

Brian Fox

Brian Fox, 49 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Bryson City, N.C. He was the son of Lonnie Joe Waldroup and the late Euna “Sis” Burrell Waldroup. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

Ronald L. Anderson

Ronald L. Anderson, 80 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Columbus and Lola Belle Farr Anderson.

Peyton Augustus Buchanan, 19 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was a native of Graham County and the son of Brandon Buchanan of Robbinsville, N.C. and Maria Millsaps Buchanan of Marion, N.C.

Judy Moose Adams, 78 of the Moose Branch Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Ethel Johnson Moose.
