Knights mow down division

Robbinsville – Amidst a hectic week – filled with conference matches aplenty – Robbinsville wrestling rose to the occasion. The Knights disposed of Murphy 74-6 and Hayesville 60-17 in a Cherokee County tri-match Jan. 9, before traveling to Rosman and downing the Tigers 75-6.

Black Knights fall at Rosman

Rosman – In a battle of winless teams, something has to give. Unfortunately for the Robbinsville Black Knights (0-7, 0-3), the win went in-favor of the home team in Tuesday’s battle at Rosman (1-10, 1-5), with the Knights falling to the Tigers, 53-50.

JV Knights finish 5-1

Robbinsville – Another successful junior varsity football season wrapped up in resounding fashion Oct. 17. Hosting the Rosman Tigers, Robbinsville (5-1) scored almost at-will in the 2019 finale, recording a convincing 62-0 victory.

Rosman – In a game that lasted just 90 minutes, the Black Knights put the Smoky Mountain Conference on notice. Robbinsville (6-0) made the long trek to Rosman (1-5) for the division opener Friday, holding the Tigers to just 15 yards of offense and scoring almost at-will in a 54-0 rout.
