Robbinsville – The worst fears of faculty and students alike were confirmed Friday, when Gov. Roy Cooper announced the statewide cancellation of the remaining 2019-20 school year. Students were originally set to return to K-12 schools Friday, May 15, which would have ended a two-month closure.

Robbinsville – With the Sunday, March 15 closing of schools across North Carolina came questions from parents and students, and a lack of answers.  Parents became concerned about the well-being of their children, not sure if they would get the education and nutrition that they need.

The new road to Robbinsville Middle and High School will be opening Tuesday. The traffic pattern will be as follows: * All students that do not ride a bus – whether they drive or are being dropped off/picked up – will enter and exit the school using the new road.

County schools hoping to improve on grades

Robbinsville – According to the 2018-2019 school performance grades, all three Graham County schools are operating at a “C” level.  However, as Robbinsville Elementary School Principal Jaime Hooper said, “A child is more than a test score.
