School system addresses bomb threats

Robbinsville – Two separate, recent bomb threats at county schools were swiftly addressed over a six-day period. According to a press release from Graham County Schools, around 8:30 a.m., Feb.

Robbinsville – Students across Graham County Schools' district received an unplanned remote-learning day earlier this week, after a threat was found written on a wall inside a restroom at Robbinsville High School.

Coming full circle

Robbinsville – In 1991, she was crowned Miss Black Knight.  At the time, Crystal Medlin had no idea the impact Robbinsville High School would continue to have on her life.  Now Crystal White, the beloved math teacher has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 Homecoming Parade.

Local teacher receives state biology award

Robbinsville – Ben Davis has been named the Outstanding Biology Teacher of the Year for North Carolina by the National Association of Biology Teachers.  An instructor at Robbinsville High School, Davis joins an elite group of teachers from each of the 50 states, plus Washington D.C.

Teachers of the Year revealed

Robbinsville – Graham County Schools just wrapped up another year of education and in turn, each institution elected a teacher that demonstrates outstanding leadership and excellence as its Teacher of the Year.

Robbinsville – Each year, two special students are recognized for not only their academic success but the challenges and personal commitments they have overcome to accept the titles of valedictorian and salutatorian of their graduating class.
