Diane Dalgety Costa, 78 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Buchan Dalgety. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Barry Allen Williams, Jr.

Helen Phillips Riddle, 94 of the Hares Creek Community in Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her residence. A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Clara Phillips.

Man arrested after alleged theft, shoplifting

Robbinsville – A Marble man was arrested in Robbinsville on March 17, after allegedly stealing catalytic converters from Graham County vehicles and later shoplifting from a local convenience store.

Jessie Aldridge

The Rev. Jessie Burlen Aldridge, 90 of the Tuskeegee Community of Graham County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Harris Regional Hospital.  The son of Shuford and Hollie Crisp Aldridge, he was born May 11, 1930.

Man arrested after alleged assault, robbery

A Robbinsville man remains behind bars at the Graham County Jail, after allegedly assaulting a woman and taking her $20 cell phone.  Court documents show that on March 11, 30-year-old Kevin Edward Mashburn took the victim’s cell phone by means of an assault on her.

Robbinsville – With a “Fairytale” theme lingering in the air, Gabby Hooper was named the 2020-21 Robbinsville High School Homecoming Queen during halftime of Friday’s football game against Erwin. As reality sunk in, Hooper was overwhelmed with excitement.

Lance Colby Waldroup, 30 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at his residence. A native of Graham County, he was the son of Jeff and Lynn Cape Waldroup of Robbinsville, N.C.
