Stecoah executive director resigns

Stecoah – A longtime fixture at the Stecoah Valley Center will be saying goodbye this spring.  Beth Fields announced her resignation as the center’s executive director in a Dec. 1 letter, saying that she wished to be closer to her family. Fields’ resignation will be effective March 31, 2021.

Justice center nearing bidding phase

Robbinsville – Graham County’s ongoing justice center and jail project will soon move into its second phase.  County Project Manager Jason Marino gave an update on the project to the Graham County Board of Commissioners in a special meeting Monday.

EBCI sets up operations center

Robbinsville – The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will be offering services to its own in the shopping center next to Ingles Market in Robbinsville, as it constructs a new tribal complex that will replace the dated facility in the Snowbird community.
