Tim Kuhn

Timothy Lloyd Kuhn, 53, passed away in Leitchfield, Ky. at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, due to complications of COPD. Timothy was the son of the late Thomas E. and Emma Jean Kuhn of Robbinsville, N.C., brother of Thomas E. Kuhn, Jr of Cross Lanes, W.Va.

Steven “Steve” Queen

Steven “Steve” Edward Queen, 58 of Daytona Beach, Fla., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, after a serious bout of pneumonia. Steve was born on Nov. 1, 1962, to Larry Queen and Geraldine “Dean” Cook Trull in Robbinsville, N.C.

Richard Phillips

Richard Phillips, 73, went to his heavenly home on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Ky. He was born in Robbinsville, N.C. on June 13, 1948, and was the son of the late Otis and Mae Stratton Phillips. He had worked on pipeline construction and strip mines.

James “Nolan” Adams

James “Nolan” Adams, 74 of the Long Creek Community of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Floyd and Versa Hall Adams.

John W. Carswell

John William Carswell, 77 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. A native of Burke County, N.C., he had resided in Graham County for over 40 years, and was the son of the late Ernest and Genevieve Carswell.

Betty Jean "Jody" Carver

Betty Jean “Jody” Carver, 74 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of Elma Adams Stratton and the late Hoover Williams.

F. Daniel Seagle

F. Daniel Seagle (Danny), 72 of the Wolf Creek community in Graham County, N.C, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021.

James Weldon Nation

James Weldon Nation, 95 years old, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021.  He was married to Lois Queen Nation and had three step-children: Katre Farmer, Dale Queen, Althea Butler; and one son, Charles Nation. Weldon was a World War II Veteran of the U.S.

John Hedrick

John Ted Hedrick, 89, went home to be with the Lord in the early morning on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at his son’s home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Jasper and Mary Stewart Hedrick and a lifelong resident of the Snowbird community in Robbinsville, N.C.

Elizabeth Ann “Nanny” Constance Orr

Elizabeth Ann “Nanny” Constance Orr, 90 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord and loved ones on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at her daughter’s residence on Gladdens Creek Road in Robbinsville. Ann was the daughter of the late Homer Constance and the late Agnes Moody Constance.
